MOST WANTED JOB IN INDONESIA

Most Wanted Job In Indonesia by Lilik Gunawan “action always speaks louder”

MOST WANTED JOB
IN INDONESIA

What is the most difficult job in Indonesia?
Being a President!

Why?
Because, from millions of job-seekers there are ONLY THREE of them who deliver their job-proposal!

It’s funny isn’t it?
The most wanted job in Indonesia and yet there are only three people who try to fill in the position?

Everyone knows that The President is the most powerful man in Indonesia.
He can give whatever order he want to any citizen of Indonesia.
And without any doubt that order will be done as soon as possible.

Everyone knows that The President has his power on every soldier in the Indonesian Arm Forces, also known as the TNI (Tentara Nasional Indonesia).
Man with that kind of power can conquer everything!

Everyone knows that The President can choose whoever he wants to be his assistant, also well-known as minister.
Of course, a lot of people eagerly chosen to be a minister.

But still … there’re only three people try to be The President of Indonesia.

Because despite all best facilities given to this position, everybody knows that this position also requires a special talent.

And it is likely there are only three man in Indonesia have it!

Two men and a woman to be exact…I wonder why…

Now, what is the special talent that makes only three man in Indonesia try to fill in the position and, of course, ONLY ONE of them will be elected?

The ability to make a lot of people do what he want.

That’s it, that’s all: the ability to give special order to special people, and make sure the order is well-done.

It is SIMPLE isn’t it? Notice I say simple. I never say it’s ‘easy’.

But because it is so simple, it makes only one of the three candidates will be considered qualified for the job.

How do we know which one is the qualified one?

Again it’s simple, not easy…we should look at how many people can be ordered by each one of them.

Ordered…tho give their votes!

Sapa sing duwe panjangkah kudu njangkah.
When there is a will, there are efforts.

Love and smile,

Old fool used to be young fool

Action Always Speaks Louder by Lilik Gunawan

Do you learn English everyday?

“Old fool used to be young fool”
(Basa Jawa: Sing tuwane bodo enome ya bodo.)

Do you think you’re so smart?
Try answer these questions if you do.

How long do you spend your time?
- reading English?
- Learning to speak-out what you think?

How long do you spend your time:
- read new articles, and
- write a summary, and
- write words you don’t understand, and
- write those words in a special book so you can check it everytime you need or meet the difficult words?

You see, if your answer is:
Less than 5 minutes
You know that’s why your English “stays on the way it is” and you should give more time to it. Be more serious!

Less than an hour
Well, congratulations! I hope your English would be better or even best…next year!

More than three hours
Sorry, I’m not on your league. Never take any advice from me.(honest)
If you have sometime, you should write an email for me. I’ll thank you very much for that.

“old fool used to be young fool”
Sing tuwane bodo, enome ya bodo.

Wheter we like it or not, it’s true.

Best regards,
Lilik Gunawan

SEO Search Engine Optimization

Action Always Speaks Louder by Lilik Gunawan

SEO Search Engine Optimization

Do you know what is SEO?
It’s “Search Engine Optimization”.

Whenever you want to know something you use search engine like Google (the biggest and the most famous search engine in the world), Yahoo!, or MSN. You type a word or words, or sentence in the search box then press enter or click Go, the it begins searching. Later on, you will see the search result. You can choose whicever page on website you’d like to view.

Now the SEO is a method or technics to make a website becomes a number one showed by the search engine’s search result.

How do you implement SEO?
It’s easy to say. [‘To say’ but not ‘To do’]

One,
Make good contents on your website.

Two,
Give something for free/gratis as a gift for everyone who visits your website. You can give ebooks, MP3 files, video, free games, free pictures, etc.

Three,
Promotion. Use some money on PPC like Google AdWords. Cause it brings a lot of people directly to your website. And the thing is they come because they feel interested.

Four,
Tell your friends to visit your website. It’s free of course, so it would never give you number one in SEO.

The best way to SEO your website is PPC. You have to spend a lot of money but it gives you good result. I prove it already. Visit my Indonesian blog:

Okey, that’s all for now. Thanks. Hope it’s useful for you.

My Country Football Team

Action Always Speaks Louder by Lilik Gunawan

My Country Football Team

Yesterday night I watch a football (in US known as soccer) match between my country Indonesia vs. Singapore.

I wonder, how come my country easily defeated. After working so hard with runnings, kickings, head-ups, freekicks, cornerkicks, tricky strategies,…

But still the score was 0 for my country football team and 2 for Singapore.

I felt regreted so much, so very sad about it! Sure! Of course!

Can you imagine, there are more than 200 millions people in my country and can be defeated by small country like Singapore! [Singapore is as big as Jakarta only]

What a big embarassment that is!

How could that happen?

With so many live-supporters watching in the stadium, still did not help supporting my country’s team.

What’s the matter with them? Couldn’t they just pick the ball and put it in the net?

Now I realized, perhaps it’s not the player, the coach, or the game that made the problem. But the management!

I’m sure they have done a very good job. The problem is they don’t have, we don’t have, the right thing as a goal to be reached.

Yes, sometimes our effort to have a happy and successful life can not be achieved, not because we don’t give our best effort, but because we don’t have the right goal!

Then we must re-think of everything. Make a better goal to reach. So whatever our effort we make it would end up with a good and better life.

That’s all for now.

My best regards,
Lilik Gunawan.

My Lovely Kutoarjo

“action always speaks louder” by Lilik Gunawan

My Lovely Kutoarjo

It’s me again Lilik Gunawan. I’m from Kutoarjo, Purworejo, Central Java, Indonesia.

I live in Kutoarjo. It’s a small town (or village?) in the eastern-side of Central Java. I’m not sure you will find Kutoarjo when you look in the world map. But, I tell you, it exist, cause I’m here writing this post for you.

Kuto means city/town. Arjo means prosperous/rich.

I’m happy to live here in Kutoarjo.

Do you know why?

Eventhough my country has a monetary crisis, fuel crisis, employment-unemployment-disemployment crisis (are this words really English? Java = glidik, pegaweyan – pengangguran – mandheg, dipecat nyambut gawene), et cetera.

But still Kutoarjo survive.

Can you imagine, 1 US Dollar equals to more than 10.000 Rupiah. That’s a very big number isn’it, e very far distance?

But still I choose to live here.

Just to connect to the internet I have to use cellphone and … I must tell you how expensive it is.

And still I feel like it here.

Well, I must say that with all those problem that we have here in Kutoarjo, we still have something to live for. That is hope.

Urubing urip iku ana ing pangarep-arep.
The torch of life lays in our hope.

We hope that someday we can have everything fixed, the way we want it.

I think that’s all for now. Thanks for your precious time.

I wouldn’t dare asking you to critisize my writing. But if you have something or a lot of thing to tell me, please feel free to cantact me trough my email address.

Again, great thanks to you.
Lilik Gunawan.

DON’T LOSE HOPE

Action always speaks louder than words

DON’T LOSE HOPE

Hi there, it’s me again. My name is Lilik Gunawan. I am from Indonesia. I live in Purworejo, Jawa Tengah (Central Java).

In these days everybody lives a hard life. It’s difficult to get enough food to eat, enough clothes to wear, enough money to spend. Yes, everybody has problem.

Whatever the problem we have, be sure, there’s always solution for it.

So, for every-one-of-you who is tempted to lose your hope,
I MUST say this: D O N ‘ T!!!

Why? Because …

There is always something you can do. Something real. Something within your reach. Something … easy!

But, first thing first. You must do it. Do something!
Don’t wait for everybody to help you solve your own problem for you.

Open-up your heart, ask:

“What is it that I really want?”

[note: you don’t have to be a surgery to perform this task]

Some-people say that problem is:
‘The difference between what we want in our heart and the reality that lays in front of us’

So, in order to solve your problem you have 3 wonderful choices:

One,
Change what you want ( or give-it-up or do not want it anymore ) if you feel certain that you can not have it, or …

Two,
Change the reality, if you have a very strong will and you feel 100% sure that you must have it. Nothing can stop you now and never. Or …

Three,
Compromise: you can have it if you can have it or you will wait until you can have it.

The point is, there’s always a better solution for every problem that we face.

So, please don’t lose your hope.

When there is a will, there is a way.

We, in Java or Basa Jawa, say:

Urubing urip iku ana ing pangarep-arep.

(The torch of life lays in our hope)

Best greetings,
Lilik Gunawan.
